Call for Support and Donations

I am a solo software developer working on the public search engine filmot.com which indexes video metadata and subtitles. I started this project in 2018 and so far have collected quite a bit of data. Over 2.6 Billion videos were crawled and over 1.5 Billion subtitles have been indexed.

Current server hosting costs are about $1050 per month, and expanding the service has become financially difficult for me. I would like to increase the capacity of the service both in terms of indexing, storage, and features. While I do receive donations from users, for which I am grateful, a large portion of the server costs are paid from my own pocket. There is no monetization on the site in terms of ads, and I'd like to keep it that way. (While you might see ads in YouTube videos on the site, these go to YouTube and not to me).
